Michelle Huhn Weiser

Michelle was born in Richmond, Missouri. She graduated from
A. M. Barbe High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1988, received a Bachelor of Arts from Our Lady of Holy Cross College, New Orleans, Louisiana in 1991 and a degree of Juris Doctor from University of Texas School of Law in 1995. Michelle was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1995 and the Texas Bar in 1996. She received her Mediation Certification from the Dispute Resolution Center in Austin in 2004, and is a member of the Lee County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. She has been practicing law in Giddings since 2004.

Michelle also serves as the City Attorney for both Lexington and Round Top.

Her areas of experience* include family law, litigation, real estate, mediation, wills, probate, trusts, collections, and creation of business entities.

Michelle also is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Giddings. She enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Michelle is originally from Louisiana but has lived in central Texas for over 22 years. While living in Austin, she met and married John Weiser from Northrup. John's family has lived in Northrup for generations. Michelle and John live in Northrup and attend church at St. Paul Lutheran in Serbin with their three young children, who all attend school at St. Paul and are involved in numerous activities such as softball, track, gymnastics, 4-H, Girl Scouts, and basketball.
